The 6.71 upgrade delivers over ninety new or enhanced features and focuses on increased sophistication of the software’s GIS capabilities, maintenance management applications, and water resource asset management modules. The release also encompasses Phase II integration with the Eden Systems Financial software package.

With the upgrade comes the release of Notifications, a new feature that provides systematic communication of work request or work order status to customers or employees through email, printed reports, pop-up messages or text messages to phones or cell phones. Notifications can respond to customer work order requests with a thank-you and completed notification and to employees for overdue requests or problems.

Other highlights from the 6.71 upgrade include:

•  Ability to create work orders from non-GBA Master Series asset inventory modules.  For example, users can create work orders on anything that is tracked in a GIS, or outside GIS.
• Ability to define exclusion days for PMs, so that they are not generating on non-working days.
• Streamlined communications capabilities with a customer email notifications system.
• Enhanced work flow routing options for comprehensive project management.
• New and enhanced costing functions for controlling inventory and related expenses.
