Maintaining and managing parks and trees is integral in overall system management for public works agencies. The GBA Master Series® software suite offers two solutions specifically designed to manage these unique assets: GBA Parks Master™ and GBA Tree Master®.

System Inventory

Each solution provides an inventory module for comprehensive data capture of your park, landscape and tree components. The Inventory modules consolidate asset information into a single database. You can easily retrieve and analyze this data using built-in filtering and reporting capabilities. Each solution provides additional functionality designed specifically for the asset you need to manage. For example, GBA Tree Master provides a pre-defined list of common trees, including both their common name and their genus/species information.

Field Inspection

Maintaining an up-to-date inspection database allows you to track the life cycle of system assets. Used together, the fully integrated Inventory and Inspection modules manage your system’s condition assessment data. Physical data in the Inventory databases links directly to the Inspection modules. When you correct discrepancies in the Inspection module, the Inventory data automatically adjusts for the update. By compiling and analyzing inspection data, you can detect trends in system performance and organize rehabilitation plans for maximum efficiency.

For example, the GBA Tree Master Inspection database includes a valuation tool that uses inspection data to assign a current value to a landscape item and a replacement value. The replacement value includes the removal of the current tree and the purchase/installation of a new tree. Or, for park equipment, the GBA Parks Master includes overall condition ratings to define equipment status. You can completely customize this tool to track inspection details specific to your system.

System Integration

The GBA Master Series solutions offer tools for overall management improvement including applications for inventory, mapping, condition assessment, maintenance and rehabilitation. By coordinating your park and tree asset data with GBA Work Master, our GIS solutions and the complementary GBA Master Series asset management applications, you can instantly know vital system information.
