gbaMS Announces Added Features to Solutions Suite

OVERLAND PARK , Kan. – GBA Master Series, Inc. (gbaMS) recently released version 6.71 of its software solutions suite. The upgrade includes more than 90 new or enhanced features and focuses on increased sophistication of the software’s geographic information system (GIS) capabilities, maintenance management applications and water resource asset management modules. Most prominent in the upgrade is the maintenance and management application GBA Work Master®, in which added features allow clients numerous new options.

Clients can use version 6.71 to systematically communicate work request or work order status to customers or employees through a variety of media, globally set which days should not generate work orders, define default directional steps for main task to auto-populate routing tasks, view individual work orders and view the total work order units.

Other changes to GBA Work Master include enhancements to the Work Flow Setup modules, Work Order module, Requests module and PM/Work Template module. Highlights from the 6.71 upgrade are listed below:

• Ability to create work orders from non- GBA Master Series® asset inventory modules.  For example, users can create work orders on anything that is tracked in a GIS, or outside GIS.
• Ability to define exclusion days for PMs, so that they are not generating on non-working days.
• Streamlined communications capabilities with a customer e-mail notifications system.
• Enhanced work flow routing options for comprehensive project management.
• New and enhanced costing functions for controlling inventory and related expenses.
